Day One.
Are we there yet? At 3:30am we left our beloved home and Rosie dog and took a leap of faith hoping that our children will cope with endless hours of driving(no dvd's) to circumnavigate our great country,well the warm bits at least! As the kids gazed in awe at the clear starry night, Emma and Adam were pumped to finally be on their way. Day one highlights included Trevor Day's 'first tank free' deal(unfortunately it included strapping a goat boat to my roof until Bryon Bay) and the BIG 4 at Forbes. It was all about bustin some bitumen really.
Bon voyage look forward to reading about your "journey into the wild". Glad that you haven't got the children's noses stuck in a dvd - they need to see everything for real. Plenty of observational car games to play (when they are awake) anyway! Then, there's always making up a song for Tamworth.
