9/10 4 1770

What a spot! 1770 is awesome.  To the untrained eye it is great but after a campfire meal with locals Mary Alice and Ron Swan the secret back roads are revealed. We spent today at the secluded Springs Beach all by ourselves collecting shells, swimming and I caught the biggest flathead ever (may need to check with Emm on actual size). We made our way back in 4wd through Deepwater National park just in time to crack a wine and watch the sun set over Bustard Bay. Amazing! Heading off tomorrow somewhere!! Might even go inland and fossic for gems at Emerald.  Keep you posted!

P.S We only deducted one point because there was a lull in the surf.

    Meanwhile, back at the ranch, it is cold, rainy and miserable too rough to fish for flathead or any other sort of "head". Great shot Amelie! Happy travels!
