What a Beauty!

After an action packed week on the Goldie we dragged ourselves away as The Burleigh Point pumped out perfect (but crowded) 4ft barrels and headed north to the Sunshine Coast. On the way we dropped in to the Eumundi Markets with 10,000 other people and still managed to bump into some friends from Adelaide. The girls bought themselves a hoola hoop each with money from their Aunty Sandy. We thought we would camp out at Coolum Beach to avoid the crowds but it turns out half of Brisbane had the same idea. Great weather and surf though. It's been 3 - 4 ft and offshore every morning for the last week. Today we went into the Noosa National Park and met with friends (Harty and Zoe) at Tea Tree Bay. Classic times, great waves and epic sand sculpting. We Topped off the day with a meal at the Noosa SLSC just as they were running the 'Miss Noosa' beauty contest. The girls loved it and thought that mum should get up on stage too. Didn't win the Seafood raffle but lucked into the only park on Hasting St and everything else good today!
